Foldable phones are becoming increasingly popular among consumers, pushing brands to speed up the release of new products to seize opportunities. Samsung will unveil its annual new phones, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, on July 10, while Google is set to release Pixel 9 on August 13, two months earlier than usual, with the possibility of introducing Pixel Fold 2. Additionally, Motorola has already launched a budget foldable phone in June, making the foldable phone market in the second half of the year lively. Counterpoint Research forecasts that the foldable phone market will exceed 21 million units this year, with a 34.8% year-on-year increase. The entry of new foldable phone models from various brands is expected to boost related supply chains such as IC design, PA, bearings, and cooling systems.
