According to South Korean media reports on June 26, 2024, due to the increasing demand for artificial intelligence (AI), Samsung Electronics plans to raise the prices of server DRAM and enterprise-level NAND flash memory by 15% to 20% in the third quarter, which is expected to improve performance in the second half of the year. With Samsung leading the increase, it will also benefit companies like Nanya Technology, ADATA, Winbond, and Phison in their future operations. The industry believes that Samsung's dominant position in the memory market and their focus on developing HBM (High Bandwidth Memory) will help sustain a healthy environment within the DRAM industry.
