In preparation for the Paris Olympics opening on July 26, Samsung, in partnership with French telecom company Orange, will utilize over 200 Galaxy S24 Ultra devices to live stream the opening ceremony with the support of 5G network services. Orange will install multiple sets of 5G network antennas along the Seine River for the event to enhance connectivity stability. This initiative not only solves the issue of limited camera placements for traditional live broadcasting but also allows for capturing different perspectives and interactions of athletes during the ceremony. Samsung's collaboration in this event not only showcases technological innovations but also hints at upcoming product launches like the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 during Unpacked 2024 event in July, providing a great branding opportunity.
