In New Taipei City, a 25-year-old driver named Zhao, working for a scam gang to withdraw fraudulent cash, recently hired a taxi to stop at convenience stores or ATMs to increase efficiency. The taxi driver found his behavior suspicious and alerted the police after dropping Zhao off. The police intercepted Zhao in a park in Zhonghe District based on the taxi driver's tip, seizing 100,000 NT dollars in fraudulent funds and 38 bank cards, leading to Zhao's arrest on charges of fraud. Zhao, who had no legitimate occupation, was recruited by the scam group as a driver to withdraw funds, and was caught after a taxi driver's quick thinking.
