In a recent scam evolution, a fraud group targeted an elderly man who was scammed 20 years ago, claiming to provide 'life ancestral position certificates' to compensate for investment losses. The elderly man was deceived into paying 60,000, only to be saved from further deception when his son intervened as the group attempted to convince the elderly man to invest 2 million. The son revealed that the group later demanded 200,000 more for additional 'life ancestral positions,' displaying the extent of the intricate scam. Despite warnings, the elderly man fell victim again, highlighting the ongoing challenges in combating scams and fraud.
