Reported about 1 year ago
On June 15, 2024, at 7:11 am, singer Jacky Cheung's concert tickets were instantly sold out, leading to fans queuing outside the venue overnight or turning to Facebook groups to buy tickets. Some fell victim to a scam where a scalper offered tickets for sale, received money transfers, and then disappeared. Over 20 individuals were scammed, losing more than 300,000 yuan to this ticket fraud operation. The criminal behind it used multiple social media accounts and financial accounts to evade detection, prompting the case to be transferred to the New Taipei District Prosecutor's Office for investigation.
