However, a report by 'Mirror Weekly' states that Xu's husband's friend, lawyer Luo Shengde, organized a defense team for the laundering group last year, with Xu's husband helping with the accused's lawyer fees. Xu criticized the magazine's claims as 'absurd' and vowed to file a lawsuit. She stated that there is no evidence to support the allegations made by fraud suspects and deems the reports as without credibility.
