SCOTUS Justices' Statements on Presidential Immunity

The conservative majority on the Supreme Court, including Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, Barrett, Alito, and Roberts, who ruled to grant the president absolute immunity for core duties, have made contradictory statements during their confirmation hearings regarding whether the president is above the law. Despite their prior assertions that no one, including the president, is above the law, the justices seem to have selective memory when it comes to presidential immunity and the extent of the pardon power.
