SeaJoy Chairman Huang Xiwen revealed that the 'SeaJoy International Building' will feature a rooftop forest garden with a comfortable smoking area and will also play advocacy videos to encourage smoking cessation. Signing a memorandum of cooperation with Taiwan Construction Research Institute and Taiwan Happiness Healthy Builders Association, SeaJoy aims to lead in ESG and SDGs corporate initiatives with its development. Huang Xiwen expressed nostalgia for his time at Nan Yang Street cram school in his youth, fondly reminiscing about beef noodle soup, dumplings, and the affordable delicacy of sour plum soup. The 'SeaJoy International Building' is set to be Taiwan's first dual platinum LEED and WELL sustainable building, aiming for completion by the end of 2027 with expected rental rates above 5000 yuan per ping for A building and above 4000 yuan per ping for E building. SeaJoy's International General Manager Wang Junjie attended the signing event, aiming to make a significant impact in the industry by striving for ESG, sustainability, and net-zero carbon goals.
