Coach Sean Payton of the Broncos believes receiver Courtland Sutton, who has been boycotting offseason workouts, will attend the mandatory minicamp as Payton knows Sutton's work ethic and expects the situation to resolve itself. While Sutton could face a fine for skipping the minicamp, Payton jokingly dismissed the idea that Sutton's absence is related to the team's new uniforms. Sutton has a $14 million salary this year and remains under contract through 2025.
