SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce hinted that Ethereum ETFs could potentially stake the underlying Ethereum in the future, despite the feature being removed before their recent approval by the SEC. Peirce mentioned that features like staking could be reconsidered post-trading debut, although her stance may not align with other Commissioners. Ethereum staking currently offers around 4% APY in additional coins, and the approval process for Ethereum ETFs differed from the Bitcoin ETF process. Analysts predict strong demand for Ethereum ETFs, projecting over $5 billion in net inflows in the initial months of trading.
