Brett Baty, recently demoted to Triple-A, hit two home runs in the Syracuse Mets' 7-1 victory over the Buffalo Bisons. His first solo shot, 416 feet to center field, was followed by a 420-foot two-run homer in the eighth inning. Baty, hoping to rejuvenate his career, is now 3-for-9 with a 1.200 OPS since joining Triple-A. His replacement in the majors, Mark Vientos, struggled in Sunday's game.
