On June 27, 2024, in a drunk state, senior artist Dragon Tien-Hsiang, also known as Qiu, got into an argument with a 49-year-old taxi driver surnamed Huang in Yonghe District, New Taipei City, over payment and insulted the driver. Police officers intervened, asked Qiu to pay the taxi fare, but he, intoxicated, unruly, and unaware of his actions, continued to push and scream at the officers. The officers had to restrain and bring him back to the station. The next day, Tien-Hsiang, feeling ashamed, went to the police station with a gift box to apologize, explaining that he drank too much during a reunion with friends from the military in Malaysia, resulting in a blackout. Tien-Hsiang's family eventually paid the taxi fare, as he claimed he had no memory of the incident.
