Due to the large number of tourists causing disturbances in Seoul's Bukchon Hanok Village, authorities announced the reinstatement of a nighttime ban after 37 years. The 'Red Zone' will prohibit tourists from entering between 5 PM and 10 AM the next day, with violators facing a fine of 100,000 KRW, starting from October this year and officially implemented by March next year. The designated 'special management area' will limit visitor hours and routes, with stricter penalties for violators. The village, with over 6 million visitors despite a population of just over 6,000, aims to address the concerns of residents by enforcing these measures.
