Server Demand Boosts Wiwynn and Wistron in First Half of 2024

Server businesses are thriving, with both Wiwynn and Wistron seeing significant revenue growth in June. Wiwynn achieved revenues of 88.787 billion NT dollars, while Wistron reached 30.758 billion NT dollars, marking the highest levels in the same period over the years. The growth is attributed to the recovery of general server business and strong momentum in AI server sectors. Wiwynn's revenue hit 774.8 billion NT dollars in the second quarter, representing a 37.6% year-on-year increase and an 11.29% quarterly increase, with a positive outlook for continued growth. Wistron is expanding production capacity in Hukou, Taiwan, and plans for new AI capacities in the second half of the year. Both companies are benefiting from the server market's growth, with promising prospects for revenue and profit growth.
