Continuous heavy rain in southern and eastern China has caused havoc, with a low-lying stretch in Fujian almost submerging a bus with over 10 passengers trapped onboard. In Meizhou, Guangdong, a concrete bridge was washed away by floodwaters, reaching depths of up to 2 meters and cutting off power supply. Mountain roads have also eroded, and areas like Fujian's Wuping County have seen multiple deaths and disappearances due to the flooding. The situation remains critical as the region faces further rainfall threats and potential secondary disasters.
