Intel Corporation is facing a class-action lawsuit from shareholders who claim the company concealed significant issues that resulted in disappointing second-quarter earnings. The lawsuit, filed in federal court in San Francisco, alleges that these hidden problems forced Intel to halt its dividend and announce a 15% workforce reduction. Among the defendants named are Intel's CEO Patrick Gelsinger and CFO David Zinsner.
