Six-time world medalist Shilese Jones has announced that she will not participate in the U.S. Championships due to a shoulder injury, prioritizing recovery for the upcoming Olympic Trials to secure a spot on the U.S. gymnastics team competing in Paris this summer. Jones intends to petition USA Gymnastics for a chance to compete at the Trials, alongside automatic qualifiers from the Championships. The Trials are scheduled for June 27-30 in Minneapolis.
