In Nong Ruea, Thailand, on July 4, 2024, a 22-year-old youth under the influence of drugs lost control and chopped off his 88-year-old grandfather's head. He then walked around his house holding the head while the grandfather's body sat on a plastic chair. The police arrested the youth and found psychiatric medication in his room, as well as a history of treatment at a mental hospital. Despite no drug residue found in his body, he faces charges for intentional murder.
