In Fengyuan, Taiwan, a 70-year-old woman named Wang was hit by a car driven by a 66-year-old man while crossing the street at a pedestrian crossing. The impact caused Wang to fall to the ground with cranial bleeding but fortunately, her life was not in danger. The driver will be fined and have his license suspended for 1 year for failing to yield to the pedestrian. The incident reflects another pedestrian safety concern in the area.
