A woman accidentally pulled the gas pipeline of a market vendor while leaving on her motorcycle, causing a gas leak. The vendor and his son, surnamed Jian, suffered multiple burns when trying to shut off the gas valve. Nearby vendors quickly reacted by using fire extinguishers and buckets of water to put out the fire. The incident raised concerns about the safety of using gas in the market.
