In Tainan City's North District, a family surnamed Chen required urgent medical attention for their octogenarian parents, trapped in a house filled with clutter. It took emergency responders 1.5 hours to rescue the elderly couple. Subsequently, nearly a hundred volunteers and the Environmental Protection Bureau spent hours cleaning up, removing about 20 tons of garbage that had been a long-standing issue for nearby residents. Efforts were especially challenging due to recent high temperatures making the task more difficult. Local officials emphasized the importance of regular cleaning to ensure a safe living environment and emergency access in times of need.
