On June 27, 2024, at 9:34 AM, a fire accident occurred in Kaohsiung where a traffic light on Shuiguan Road in Renwu District suddenly caught fire for unknown reasons, engulfing the entire signal box. Parts were melting and sparks were falling to the ground like raindrops, creating a frightening scene captured by passersby. The fire department promptly responded, extinguished the fire, and fortunately, no casualties were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
