As the second phase of the recall campaign against Keelung Mayor, Xie Guoliang, enters its final week with a gap of 3,000 signatures needed to meet the threshold, two Democratic Progressive Party councilors, Zhang Haohan and Zheng Wenting, have offered their service offices for recall stations. This move was criticized by Kuomintang legislators as 'extremely disgusting.' The campaign, labeled 'Toppling Beam,' aims to remove Mayor Xie, and with the support of Green Camp, the recall vote is expected in mid-September if the required number of valid signatures is obtained.
