Yung-Feng Chemical Industry's Xinzhuang factory has ceased production due to non-compliance with PIC/S GMP standards, affecting the supply of large-volume intravenous fluid medicines. Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare Lin Ching-yi expressed apologies for the inconvenience caused to medical partners due to the company's issues and assured that around 300,000 bags are expected to be imported next week to alleviate concerns. Efforts are being made to ensure uninterrupted supply, address quality requirements, and mitigate the risk of monopolistic market shortages.
