During the Legislative Yuan meeting on June 20, 2024, there was discussion on inviting Premier Tsai Ing-wen to explain and be questioned regarding the 'Parliamentary Reform' bill. Kuomintang Legislator Li Yanshihe raised concerns over the Indigenous Protected Land Logging Compensation Act amendment, questioning if in the future, any legislation disliked by the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) would be subject to review and constitutional procedures. Li Yanshihe predicted that the DPP would likely propose a review of the Indigenous Act and issue a temporary freeze on the 'Parliamentary Reform' bill. Premier Tsai did not directly respond to these questions during the inquiry.
