Signal malfunctions cause train delays on Taiwan’s South-link line

On June 19, 2024, the Taiwan Railway Corporation experienced disruptions on the South-link line due to signal malfunctions at Kangle Station and a fault between Guangfu Station and Fuyuan Station. These incidents led to cumulative delays of 99 minutes and 370 minutes, affecting a total of 14 trains. Emergency crews were deployed, and investigations into the signal anomalies are ongoing.
