Traffic reached 520,798 carloads and intermodal units, marking a 25.6% increase year-over-year. While carload traffic overall has decreased by 2.7% in 2024, intermodal volume rose by 9.5%. North American railroads collectively reported a 19.1% increase in overall volume for this week.
