Passengers with severe injuries will be offered tailored compensation, with those requiring long-term medical care receiving an initial payment of $25,000 (approximately NT$816,000). The incident occurred during a flight from London to Singapore, resulting in the need for emergency landing in Bangkok due to the turbulence. The airline will also comply with EU or UK regulations for delay compensation and highlights the importance of seatbelt safety measures.
