Singapore Claims Top Spot for 'World's Most Powerful Passport'! Taiwan Ranked 69th, Excluded from Entry to this Country

As of June 14, 2024, according to VisaGuide.World, Singapore holds the top spot for the 'World's Most Powerful Passport' with visa-free access to 159 countries, while Taiwan ranks 69th. Singapore's passport allows its citizens visa-free entry to 159 countries, with only 9 requiring an electronic travel authorization and 12 needing an e-visa, scoring 91.15 out of 199 countries. Italy follows in 2nd place, with Spain reigning champion. Japan ranks 13th in Asia, allowing entry to 143 countries visa-free and landing visas in 36, while the top 20 consist mostly of European nations. The US is 42nd, China 117th, and Somalia last with only 10 visa-free countries. Despite Taiwan having 109 visa-free countries and 29 landing visa countries, it still requires prior visas for 47 countries. Taiwanese citizens only need their passport and ID to enter the EU visa-free, staying up to 90 days within 180 days. The only country prohibiting Taiwanese passport holders is Georgia Republic.
