In June 14, 2024, VisaGuide.World released the latest ranking of the 'best passports globally,' with Singapore scoring 91.15 to claim the top spot out of 199 countries. Italy ranked second with 90.49 points, and Spain secured the third position with 90.48 points. Taiwan moved up one spot to 69th place this year, but is still denied entry by Georgia, a country in the Asian region. Georgia refuses Taiwanese passport holders entry due to its electronic visa entry system not including Taiwanese nationality as an option for application. Taiwan currently holds visa-free entry from 100 countries, with other options including visa-on-arrival, eTA, eVISA, and landing visas from different countries.
