VisaGuide.World recently released the Passport Index, ranking Singapore as the country with the most powerful passport, allowing visa-free entry to 159 countries. Japan ranked 13th and Taiwan 69th, with one country refusing entry to Taiwanese passport holders. Georgia rejected entry to Taiwanese passports due to its adherence to the One-China policy, while China ranked 117th in the index. Various countries in Asia, including the UAE and South Korea, also fared well in the rankings, with the US at 42nd place. Overall, the analysis evaluated 199 countries based on entry conveniences such as visa-free access and electronic travel authorizations.
