At the PGA Tour's Travelers Championship, six climate protesters stormed the 18th green, delaying the finish by about five minutes as they sprayed smoke and powder. The event caused the players and spectators to be alarmed, but the situation was quickly handled by law enforcement. Extinction Rebellion claimed responsibility for the protest, citing climate change as the motivation. Despite the disruption, Scottie Scheffler eventually won the tournament in a sudden-death playoff.
