A food poisoning incident occurred in Taichung on June 16, where six people developed severe symptoms like diarrhea after consuming grilled oysters at a restaurant. They were admitted to Li Comprehensive Hospital in Dajia District with no serious consequences. The health authorities identified three deficiencies at the restaurant and collected samples for testing. The patients received treatment and were discharged safely. The hospital emphasized the seriousness of infectious food poisoning, with the primary patient requiring hospitalization for four days due to a positive fecal occult blood test.
