On the evening of July 4th, at 9:44 p.m., a sudden power outage occurred in the area of Wugong 2nd Road in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City, affecting 829 households. Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) dispatched personnel immediately upon receiving the report, restored power to 395 households by 10:40 p.m., and fully restored power by 11:00 p.m. The inconvenience caused by the outage led Taipower to express its apologies and pledge to enhance line inspections and maintenance. The reason for the outage has not been clarified yet.
