An Indian government engineering college in Banka district, Bihar, faced a food safety crisis as 10 students fell ill after allegedly consuming snake meat in their dinner at the school cafeteria. The students, who complained about the poor food quality at the cafeteria in the past, expressed their outrage at finding snake meat in their meal this time. The cafeteria, operated by a private contractor, has faced previous complaints and authorities are investigating the incident, warning of strict actions if such events recur.
