In Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the bodies of one man and two women were found in a hotel room after they did not check-out on time and the police were called to investigate. The male victim was a somewhat famous social media chef and the scene showed no signs of struggle or foul play. Prescription drugs were found, but not in lethal amounts, and there were no signs of forced entry. A letter with negative content detailing each person's grievances was discovered at the scene. The incident is suspected to be a suicide pact due to emotional distress, but the exact cause of death and sequence of events are still under investigation.
