The 35th Golden Melody Awards ceremony, scheduled to feature a performance by Japanese rock band 'BiSH' and A-Kong from Soda Green, had a sudden change of plan as A-Kong announced his inability to perform last minute. Allegations have since surfaced from a ceremony staff member claiming that A-Kong not only missed rehearsals with BiSH and the dress rehearsal, but also used a diagnosis from a cosmetic clinic as an excuse for his absence. A-Kong's agency responded to the allegations, stating he visited a health clinic and communicated regrets to BiSH through Sony Music, while the event organizer, TTV, mentioned receiving a doctor's diagnosis and respecting the artist's health concerns.
