Son emphasized the company's mission during SoftBank's annual shareholder meeting, highlighting efforts to integrate robots and AI for large-scale production, logistics, and autonomous driving. Despite past setbacks, such as the failed Vision Fund in 2021, Son's reputation as a visionary investor has been bolstered with successful ventures like Arm, SoftBank's UK chip design subsidiary, which went public on the Nasdaq in September last year.
