The southwest wind continues to influence weather patterns, causing sporadic short periods of rain or thunderstorms south of Miaoli, with heavier rainfall in the southern regions concentrated mostly at night and in the morning. Mountainous areas will also experience afternoon thunderstorms, with temperatures forecasted to soar to 35 degrees and possibly above 36 degrees in the upcoming week due to the southwest wind impact. The Central Weather Bureau further reports that temperatures will hover around 34 degrees in the coming week, potentially reaching 36 degrees in areas near mountains in northern and southern Taiwan. Weather will range from cloudy to sunny with occasional afternoon thunderstorms across different regions.
