High Wei-xing, a police officer from Wufeng Police Substation in Taichung, passed away in the line of duty at a shooting range in July 2023. His second son, Gao Zhi-jia, has decided to follow in his father's footsteps and recently passed the entrance exam to the police academy. Gao Zhi-jia expressed his desire to make his father proud and continue his legacy of safeguarding public safety. The Wufeng Police Substation also presented him with a gift box containing soap with the police emblem, hoping he will study hard and return to serve in his hometown in the future.
