Taipei City Police Xinyi Branch released a press release tonight stating that on June 30, officers from the Wuxing Street Police Station spotted a man driving a car out of an underground parking lot and later illegally parking on the roadside red line. When questioned, the police smelled a strong alcohol odor on Ge, who claimed to have arranged for a substitute driver but moved the car out and parked on the road due to the substitute driver's confusion with the parking location. It is understood that the driver involved in the incident is Ge Zhao'en, the son of Gao Lingfeng. As Ge was involved in drunk driving behavior, the police conducted an on-site alcohol test, resulting in a measurement of 0.61 milligrams, leading to the case being sent for prosecution for endangering public safety.
