In a recent murder case in Wanhua, Taipei, a 68-year-old tenant named Chen stabbed his 78-year-old landlord surnamed Yan to death over unpaid rent of around 20,000 NT dollars. The son of the deceased landlord, who had been blind and left home 20 years ago, expressed his sorrow and shared how his father had dedicated his life to helping vulnerable individuals, showing empathy and mutual assistance. Chen surrendered to the police in Hsinchu after the incident was discovered and recounted the gruesome attack on Yan.
