On June 20, 2024, at 10:15 AM, 'Mirror Weekly' received the Excellence in Feature Writing Award for their piece 'Returning From the Ukrainian Battlefield: 8-Month Struggle, Realities of Two Taiwanese Volunteer Soldiers on the P66 Highway' at the SOPA Excellence in Journalism Awards ceremony held by the Hong Kong-based NGO Asian Publishing Association.
