A major fire broke out at the lithium battery factory of South Korea's well-known battery manufacturer 'AriCell' in Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi-do, resulting in 22 deaths, 8 injuries, and 1 missing person. The deceased and missing individuals include 5 South Koreans, 17 Chinese, and 1 Laotian. Authorities discovered unidentified remains at the site, which may belong to missing persons or be body parts of confirmed deceased. Investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire in which 19 Chinese, 2 South Koreans, and 1 Laotian were among the casualties.
