South Korea is facing skyrocketing prices, with the once considered 'commoner's delight,' grilled pork belly becoming unaffordable. Statistics show that in May, the price for a plate of pork belly weighing less than 200 grams exceeded 20,000 KRW, approximately 470 TWD, marking a more than 20% increase compared to four years ago. Prices of other dishes like seaweed rice rolls and cold noodles continue to rise, making dining out increasingly expensive.
