South Korea's exports are predicted to have increased for a ninth consecutive month in June, led by semiconductor sales to the United States. Although the growth rate is expected to have slowed due to calendar effects, forecasts show a 6.3% rise in exports compared to the previous year. The robust semiconductor exports and strong demand from the US, comprising approximately 20% of total shipments, are driving the growth. While exports to the US surged by 23.5%, those to China increased by 5.6%. South Korea's exports are on track to reach record-high levels in the first half of the year, with expectations of continued recovery in the second half supported by other global regions.
