South Korea to Mandate EV Battery Brand Disclosure Following Fire Incidents

The country plans to require EV manufacturers to disclose battery brands, aiming to restore consumer confidence in EV safety amidst declining sales. The government will announce comprehensive measures early next month, as the transport ministry is already exploring more stringent regulations.
