South Korean AI startup Wrtn Technologies Inc. secured 25 billion won ($18.3 million) in funding with BRV Capital leading the round. Other investors like Capstone Partners Inc., Industrial Bank of Korea, and Z Venture Capital also participated. Founded in 2021, Wrtn has developed an AI platform serving 3.7 million users in Korea and Japan. The company plans to expand to Southeast Asia and the Middle East, offering free services while generating revenue from advertising and premium content. Wrtn aims to focus on younger demographics and intends to solidify its presence in the market this year.
