After South Korea's government introduced healthcare reform policies in February, including expanding medical student enrollment, it has sparked discontent among the medical sector. Despite multiple negotiations, no consensus has been reached. As a result, Seoul National University Hospital initiated a collective strike on the 17th, and the Korean Medical Association will go on a nationwide strike on the 18th. Various hospitals have seen a significant reduction in operations, affecting both outpatient and scheduled appointments.
